“Except the only difference is I’ll fucking kill anyone who tries to hurt you, now.”
“Oh, but you do, little savage. By me. And only me.”
“Don’t tempt me, little savage,” he growled, his eyes meeting mine as he bit his bottom lip. “I don’t think you can handle my appetite.”
“Because you’re finally home, Princess.”
“I’m going to kill that motherfucker, Gray. For every ounce of pain he’s ever inflicted on you. His life is on loan because I will fucking own his fate when I get him in my hands. And he’s known it for years.”
Now, he was only a touch of gold and madness, instead of a full blown assault.
“You look so fucking beautiful in your full form,” Chrome whispered. “You’re my rainbow. My beam of hope.”
“I’m going to need you to clarify what you mean by ‘touch you.’ Because I’m going to be honest, Gray. There’s a million ways I want to touch you. And none of them are innocent.” Oh.
will always find you, Gray,” Chrome whispered. Somehow, we’d gravitated to the point where our lips nearly touched when he said, “No matter the realm. No matter if I’m Endarkened. I will always find you.”
large palm caressed from my waist up to my ribcage, not stopping until my breast fit in his hand. “I bet you taste divine. Like my salvation.” His tongue whipped out, lapping up the front of my throat and then my chin, to where he took my lips in his mouth again. “I’m so fucking starved for you. I imagine once I start, I won’t stop until you’re trembling on my tongue.”
“I’ve waited so many years to touch you like this, Rainbow,” he said between kisses. “And I’d wait an eternity more if I had to.”
“I hurt for you, Gray. Don’t you get that?”
“Stay with me. I’ve got you.”
“As much as you bring me light, I bask in your darkness, too. Because I want all of you. Good, bad, light, and dark. Whole or broken. I want you to love the dark parts of yourself because dark and light exists within us all, Gray.” His baritone voice vibrated down my spine. “We can’t escape it. Running from ourselves never ends well. It’s only when we come to embrace our whole selves that we find any sort of peace. I may be a monster, but I’m a monster against other monsters. I’ll gladly be a monster for those I care about. My family. For you.”
“No matter what happens to me, I’ll always find you. In every lifetime. In every realm. Because it’s always been you for me—ever since I was ten years old.”
