Imagine a scenario where a friend of yours calls you one night to explain that their cat is starving to death. So you ask why this is happening. They say, ‘Well, every night I ask the cat if it wants chicken or fish to eat and it just won’t answer. So it doesn’t get anything.’ It isn’t the cat that’s lacking intelligence!
