if I hadn’t gotten sick, I doubt I would have written this book, or taken the time to try to sort my life out. As you now know, temperamentally, I’m much too biased toward action to undertake such a sedentary project. But since I have, I’m going to go all the way and try to share with you how I feel about some things that seem important to me.
