By raiding the supply lines into Alari, Lykor discovered the humans were totally defenseless and unprepared to form any resistance. It created a low risk and effective way of gathering provisions. He wondered if the elves would ever protect “their” goods from the wraith’s continued looting. Seemingly content, the humans funneled all of their resources to Alari. But what would happen if the mortal’s slumbering powers ever stirred and they decided to stand against their oppressors? Perhaps that was the awakening the world needed to dislodge the elves’ grip on the land.
