It was my discovery that the auxiliary function is used parentally—as a way of taking care of others. (Again, I am focusing on the individual’s intent when using a particular type of consciousness.)
that’s what an auxiliary function aims at, taking care of another.
By contrast, the superior function is less involved in the care of others and more in the assertion of self.
