Victor J. Gosh, I've not read any of these books, and only recognize one name, a writer of whom I am not a fan. So, I think I have to disqualify myself.

And it does seem an odd list, more notable for who is missing than who is included. I can think of a bunch of names off the top of my head: Ruth Sims, Josh Lanyon, Rick Reed, Mary Renault, Michael Cunningham, Michael Chabon - and I've written a romance or two myself along the way.

Victor J. Banis

message 2: by Jen (new)

Jen Victor's right...this is an odd list. I've read about 200 gay romances this year, but only two of them are on this list.

Where is Mary Renault? J. L. Langley? Victor J. Banis? Ally Blue? Erastes? Chris Owen?

message 3: by Nancy (new)

Nancy We don't have to vote only for the titles on this list, we can add our own!

message 4: by ElaineY (new)

ElaineY Sorry, can't vote coz I haven't read any of these but now I know what to check out.

message 5: by JenMcJ (new)

JenMcJ You can add your own to the list!

Nichole (DirrtyH) Who added every book Neil Gaiman ever wrote to this list??

message 8: by Lily (new)

Lily I havent' read all these but in the Mortal Instruments series, there are two significant characters who are gay. Alec & Magnus (:

message 9: by Kingsley (new)

Kingsley fucked up men how do you expect me to vote wen i ve not read any of this men.

message 10: by Lori (new)

Lori If you're a lover of M/M Romance, be sure and check out our group http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/2...

message 11: by Lori (new)

Lori People have some strange ideas of what constitutes gay romance. I guess it's the "gay romance sub-plot" that is throwing me off but isn't Man, Oh Man! Writing M/M Fiction for Kinks & Cash by Josh Lanyon non-fiction? And Trucker Fags in Denial #1? Really?

message 12: by Wyndslash (new)

Wyndslash i didn't know "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman had a gay romance subplot :P

message 13: by Tania (new)

Tania i get most of the books i want to read from here, and the ratings and reviews. It's a pretty good list, some of the books were really good! but i still have a long way to go to catch up.

message 14: by willaful (new)

willaful Is this list m/m only? My favorite gay romance is f/f.

message 15: by Taylor (new)

Taylor Stumpf I am working through reading this list, but I am wondering why Kimberly Gardener's books aren't on here. They're unique and perfect... hot and beautiful at the same time. I would recommend adding "Phoenix Rising" and "Bound To Please".

message 16: by J.L. (new)

J.L. Merrow Hmm. I really like PsyCop 1 by Jordan Castillo Price - but should I vote for it as a standalone ebook or as part of the PsyCop 1&2 paperback? Both? Confusing.

You can add them yourself. :-)

message 18: by Taylor (new)

Taylor Stumpf I'm new to this site. Sorry if I made a fool of myself. I don't know how to add. But thank you for letting me know.
What are your personal favorites? I've been looking for something in a similar style to Kimberly Gardner. I did, however, like "The Landlord" by Jeff Erno. Beautiful story.

message 19: by willaful (new)

willaful You didn't make a fool of yourself, sorry if I seemed to be chiding. To add, go to the top and click on the "add books to this list" tab. It will give you an option to add from your books, which makes things simple if you have a specific shelf to add books from, or you can search the site to find the books.

message 20: by Taylor (new)

Taylor Stumpf Thank you. I really appreciate this. I'm new to this genre, but now I can't put these books down. I really love them. I have them all on my nook and I read nonstop.

Thank you for helping me. I really do appreciate it.

I was coming here to tell you how to add them too. We all have to learn.

You're right. There are. Hahaha. I almost forgot about that. They're awesome. If I recall, Magnus even shoots glitter out of his fingers, right? Gosh... I love that series. I didn't like the "ClockWork Angel", but the other series was awesome. Thanks your that input. I had almost forgotten. That was a great way to give me a smile to start my day.

message 23: by Shakisha (new)

Shakisha I was wondering how I was going to find more really good M/M.....well here it is.

So glad to help our cause more M/M for us!!!

message 26: by SMi (new)

SMi I wouldn't consider Lover Mine by JR Ward an m/m romance. While there are a couple of characters that are gay/bi, the MCs of that book are most certainly het. In Lover at Last, the tenth book in the series, the MCs are male.

message 27: by Kangna (new)

Kangna hi,

some time back, i was checking this list and read brief intro of a book. I forget the name, i really want to read that one. the brief was something like below:

one of the MC was stranded on a island after the plane crash, there were only few survivors, he was found after 5 years. but by that time his Husband was in relationship with some other guy.

please let me know if any one of you have read that book. thanks,

Anyone can add books to this list.
