The number of pages is often subjective, of course, although not in the case of the two removed titles, I hastely add :-) For example, I voted for the Ralph Ellison book, the current #1, while my own Penguin edition is less than 500 pages....
I've removed Version Control for not meeting the requrements of the list. (Edition on the list had less than 500 pages).
