I think you can add books as you see fit and we can vote on them to figure out what we want to read next.

So far Splintered is in the lead. I have a NASCAR announcer in my head doing the lineup.

Everybody else is welcome to join!

I remember puting it on my to-read list just because of the cover and every friend I had rated it 4 or 5 stars. Never did I stop to even read what the story was about.
On another note, Brittain, I have already 8 of these that I've read, so I guess they get disqualified, right? Or maybe with some of them, if you've read them too we could just continue with the series. Let me know.

I've heard great things about him. Seriously counting the days to meet him :P

I got mine too. Book one, two and the novella. I couldn't help myself. :D

And let me just say hawwwt

You have to buy it off of karen monings website it used to be free but its not anymore. It is so good!
And no worries from me on starting early

Also I like Magnus as a character. I think most of the stories take place before the TMI timeline but I can't be sure. What irritated you most about TMI?

It's short so you can watch it over and over :-)

I found myself rolling my eyes a lot and I was able to predict a lot of what was going on in the books. I'm generally a fickle and picky reader and I eventually stopped caring if the characters survived or not.

The characters. I disliked everything about them. I couldn't root for them and in turn that just kills it for me in a book. Everyone sounds the same. I feel like they're cardboard cut outs.
It's boring pace. It's ridiculous villain. That whole Clary-Jace sibling thing which I can see from a mile away that it's just a plot twist. I feel it's too predictable.
And the thing is, I know Clare can write books I like. I loved TID. I really did but this was just horrible. Also I loved Magnus in TID. Here he just feels soooo off, I can't even.

I have a bad habit of getting to the last book in a series and not finishing it. I still haven't finished the Selection series or Divergent to name a few of the more popular ones.

Ha. Me too. I have like five series where I just stopped on the last one.

I do that too. Generally, my rule is that if I'm not thinking about the characters a week after I finish the book, I don't move onto the next one.
