message 1: by D.G. (new)

D.G. The title of your list is hysterical! Thanks so much for the laugh!

message 2: by Karla (new)

Karla Dude, even if you don't like a book, it doesn't mean you have to diss it and put the author and fans down.

message 3: by Pisces19 (new)

Pisces19 I can't really understand how anyone could vote for Blue Bloods for this list. Yeah, the books are good, but those vampires are not much better than the Cullens.

Laura Hailey wrote: "Dude, even if you don't like a book, it doesn't mean you have to diss it and put the author and fans down."

If the book is as crappy quality as Twilight you can.

message 5: by Karla (new)

Karla Twilight was a good book, in my opinion. I've even reread them. They're still fackin' good to me.

Laura Hailey wrote: "Twilight was a good book, in my opinion. I've even reread them. They're still fackin' good to me."

Then you have very low standards.

message 7: by Karla (new)

Karla Not really.

message 8: by Laura (new)

Laura Hailey wrote: "Not really."

I'm not trying to be mean to you, but you kind of do. I'm not just saying I don't like the book, I'm saying it has some of the poorest quality writing a book can have. It's fine if people like books that I don't like. It's not fine that some woman decided to severely downgrade the intelligence of almost all YAs because she had a dream.

message 9: by Karla (new)

Karla You're just really close-minded.

message 10: by Laura (new)

Laura Hailey wrote: "You're just really close-minded."

If wanting good quality writing is close-minded, I hope to God that I'm as close-minded as possible.

message 11: by Karla (new)

Karla Well, idgaf about what you think. I thought it was a good read so you don't have to diss the book just because that's what other people are doing. You're just getting really defensive and annoying.

message 12: by Laura (new)

Laura Lol, how am I getting defensive? How has even one of my posts been defensive? I've been criticizing your book the whole time. I wonder if you know the different between defensive and offensive? And you wonder why I don't like Twilight.
And by the way, when you're the one who starts a conversation objecting to the subject of a list, you can't go back to the "idgaf about what you think." You were the one who first stated your opinion, and I responded with the fact what Twilight has horrendous writing. If anything I could have said that to your first post.

message 13: by Karla (new)

Karla Well you could've, but clearly you do care. Otherwise, you wouldn't take so much of your time writing ginormous paragraphs about a book that you don't even like.

Diabolical Daemonic If you are such a fan, Hailey, just what are you doing here? Everyone is allowed their own opinion, if we happen to find faults in a book where others are two blind sided by their own wet dreams, then so be it. Respect the fact that others do not like what you do, and back off. Go to your clubs and threads, and leave us to our own.

Laura Hailey wrote: "Well you could've, but clearly you do care. Otherwise, you wouldn't take so much of your time writing ginormous paragraphs about a book that you don't even like."

When did I say that I didn't? I pretty much said the opposite. I said that I hate that Stephanie Meyer is ruining the minds of YAs everywhere. You're coming up with dumb things to say that don't at all counteract what I say but just make you look like an idiot. It's like you don't have a comeback to what I say, so you come up with other invalid points.

Demonic wrote: "If you are such a fan, Hailey, just what are you doing here? Everyone is allowed their own opinion, if we happen to find faults in a book where others are two blind sided by their own wet dreams, t..."

Ditto. I don't see why Hailey would eve come onto a list with a title bashing the book she loves, anyway.

message 16: by Karla (new)

Karla Well, I just wrote that in my opinion, they're good.

And Demonic, that didn't stop you from going to the Twilight book loving thingy and writing about why we were all stupid. And I'm sorry that I don't have good comebacks, yours are pretty good.

And I have no clue how I got here. It was in November, so I don't know why you had to bring me back. So sorry, I'll back off then. Didn't know you cared so much about what I did.

message 17: by Laura (new)

Laura Hailey wrote: "Well, I just wrote that in my opinion, they're good.

It's not just that you don't have good comebacks, it's that you don't have comebacks at all. It's just kind of scary that you love this book so much but you don't even know why. It seems like you just love it because it's popular. Please don't take that in the wrong way, because I'm not saying at all that that's true, I'm just saying that it seems that way. I hate when people think they know why I like a book when they don't so, I'm not at all saying it's a fact that I'm right, just from appearances.

message 18: by Laura (new)

Laura And that's what I'm saying, that it's scary that someone would love a book so much but have no idea why.

message 19: by Alfredo (new)

Alfredo Bermúdez Obviously Alucard would destroy anyone who crosses and especially to Edward...

message 20: by Madi (new)

Madi Guthrie Cat and Bones from the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost would devour Edward. That's for sure. (;

message 21: by Silvia (new)

Silvia I like this list!

message 22: by Shay (new)

Shay Love the name of this list.

Same here! I am still in love with Edward and so glad that he has a conscience unlike these vicious monsters. I read them all. I love it that he sparkles and hates himself!!
