I love the character of Sookie - her combination of simplicity, warmth, her no nonsense manner and courage whilst still being very feminine and somehow vulnerable. That wholesomeness and quirky southern sense of humour.. are there any other book characters like Sookie - they don't have to be Southern but just have that something about them that Sookie has.
