Books that should NEVER have had movie rights brought!

You loved the book! But now you watched the movie and its ruined! The visualisation of a hack director has trampled all over the novel. We should react, with knives...or something.

The Lord of the Rings (trilogy) was a fine adaptation and surpasses the novel in a number of ways.

Pet Sematary was written by King himself, and it did a great job of translating an already vivid novel on to the screen.
