Mary This a wonderful story of survival. The author bares her soul and you can feel her emotions throughout her telling of years of abuse. But this is also a message of hope for anyone who has experienced this torment. That, at the end of the road there is recovery. I highly recommend Mamie's book. Mary Firmin author of Deadly Pleasures.

Thank you Mary. Your opinion means a great deal to me as I respect your penmanship but mainly because of your honest approach to life. I feel fairly sure that my readers or readers thinking about my book will find your comment a help.
Many Regards,
Mamie

Clayton Bye My comments regarding Reflections of Mamie are pretty clear, as revealed in my review further up the page. But what you don't know about this marvelous woman is her great capacity to care. Someone growing up in a situation like hers would be lucky to come through partly normal, yet Mamie not only came through with a whole version of herself, she came through with the ability to bring to herself people who truly care about her and whom she can also care very deeply for. This is a special gift to have. It's one I admire.

Clayton, thank you for these kind words of compassion and for caring how one comes out the other side when they travel a journey like this one.

I have always believed that inn order to be a decent person, you have to believe in yourself first and once you are good inside you will find many treasures around you. My spirit would just Never Give Up.
