message 1: by Antoine (new)

Antoine I think if we try really hard, we can get ALL books from the 8th century, not just the best ones. I bet we are at least halfway there.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads Not so much. I had both the Bede and the Two Lives of Charlemagne as assigned reading in a medieval history class in college, for example.

Ivana Beowulf is listed for both the 8th and the 9th century?

message 5: by Booklovinglady (new)

Booklovinglady I've removed Beowulf, as it was first published in 975, according to GR.
