"Portrait of a Turkish Family" was written in Turkish being immediately edited and translated by the author's wife. You are right, Turkish versions are translations from English. Anyway, it is a nice novel, so I hope everybody enjoys it :)

Thank you

Thank you"
Can't find the book, nor any other title in English by this author, in the British National Library. There can be several reasons for this of course: The book has not been translated into English (yet), the translation might be published by an American publisher and is not (yet) available in the British National Library, or the author name and/or title are spelled differently in English. (I had a quick look at the Library of Congress, but there seem to be only Turkish titles for this author in their catalogue as well).
Are you sure the book has been translated into English yet? (There's no English edition of the book on GR). And if so, how do you know for sure? Reason for asking is that your answer might help locating an English edition of the book.
If you are looking for a Turkish edition, try Abebooks, Amazon (noticed they have copies available), Bookdepository, and other online bookstores, both for new and second hand edtions.

They may be bestsellers but they're so far away from being "excellent authors" to make it in to the "the bests" list of Turkish literature.
This list is a joke.
