Successful Adult Fiction Authors Trying Their Hands at YA
The interest in Young Fiction has exploded since Harry Potter and Twilight. So if you know you can write why not switch - at least partly - to the genre that is attracting the readers and the film makers? There are surely plenty other reasons for doing the jump and I welcome every enjoyable piece of young adult fiction regardless of the writer's bio. This list is simply meant to be an observation born out of curiosity, nothing else. Care to help collecting examples? I think one young adult book per author (preferably the first one) would suffice.
