I was so surprised when I found no existing book lists concerning Psycho Pass... I felt quite responsible to immediately create one (by rewatching the show in the meantime - it's just sooo genius)

Thank you so much Jacob! :) I was also browsing in order to find as many of them as were quoted or referred to in the show (how did I miss Titus Andronicus?? such an iconic scene of Makishima), so your addition was very much welcome!
True, fantastic list, thank you for making it! :) And all the books seem so thought-provoking, I got inspired by them being referenced in "Psycho-Pass", I hope to read a few of them and other books by their authors. This anime really inspires you to read. ...now that I think about it, I would love to see Gen Urobuchi's reading list - I hope he'll publish it sometime. :)
Excellent list for this anime masterpiece, thank you!Psyho Pass was a major stepping stone for me towards reading ,and especially reading philosophy. I think I will re-watch soon for 3rd time.
Szuper lista, köszönjük!
thanks for the list. I really love this anime and when I heard the names of many of the books I read in the story, I wondered if I could find the full list. thanks for your work.
This list is incredible! For both my own and others' sake, I have a few more that were on the bookshelves in one scene (though they do not entirely fit the mark of being mentioned or referenced):Power/Knowledge by Michel Foucault
Critique of Pure Reason by Immanuel Kant
The OTHER Heading by Jacques Derrida
OF GRAMMATOLOGY by Jacques Derrida
The ear of the other by Jacques Derrida
