I am an African Travel Fiction Author. I wanted to know if it's OK to add my own book to the list. Wouldn't want to offend anyone.
Thank you.

The description of the list says "Any work of fiction that is set in or has Africa in the plot", which is why I haven't added Terug naar Kongo for example, as it is not fiction either (even though it makes a great read).
I haven't removed Out of Africa / Shadows on the Grass (yet), as I'm not the owner of this list :-)

I've removed Out of Africa, as well as Out of Africa / Shadows on the Grass, as neither titles match the criteria of this list. Haven't removed the other title you mentioned though, as I haven't read it myself.

Sue wrote: "West with the Night is a memoir of her experiences learning to fly and then attempted solo flight to America"
Saturday's wrote: "West with the Night is non-fiction I'd be happy for that one to be removed as well. :)"
I've removed West with the Night

Empty Bananas

Mussuukunda,
The Mechanical Girl,

and others, written by Tom Ireland.

A Girl Undaunted, or The Honey Queen
Bessie Marchant
"Selfish, self-centered Maleeny and her more agreeable sister Bridget have been sent from the city to spend time with their uncle, who lives in a rural part of Africa. There they meet Patience, a cousin from a remote part of Africa called the Raff. Patience is running away from an obligation to serve as the Honey Queen for a demanding old woman, Karkatura, who rules over a man-free portion of the Raff."

I don't suppose it would be an easy one to locate, sadly. :(
and another:
Laurel the Leader
Bessie Marchant
"Laurel's father does not return from a baboon hunting trip, and, with the help of her brothers and her neighbors, Laurel must manage the farm, look after her delicate mother, and find her father."
