Mjög skemmtileg frásögn af þessu tímabili. Bókin er frekar hæg, en mér finnst það ekki löstur, maður nær að lifa sig vel inn í tíðarandann og tilfinningar fólksins sem lagði í þessar svakalegu breytingar á lífi sínu.
