AO: I need to think more about this...after more history has passed.

AO: laziness

AO: creative director

AO: entertainment mogul

SS: What 3 personal qualities are most important to you?

AO: drive, dedication, follow-through

SS: If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your days, what would it be?

AO: green grapes

SS: What are your 5 favorite songs?

AO: stuff from the catalogues of Sadé, Annie Lennox & Lauryn Hill...each have songs/voices that have actually made me shed a tear (there, i said it!) i also like phil collins, jay-z, prodigy, sting & rage against the machine.

SS: What are your 5 favorite books of all time?

AO: I don't want to commit to my "favorite of all time" yet, but classics I enjoyed include Harper Lee's "To Kill A Mocking Bird," F. Scott Fitzgerald’s "The Great Gatsby," and Richard Wright’s "Native Son."

SS: Is there a book you love to reread?

AO: my own book of dreams

SS: Do you have one sentence of advice for new writers?

AO: Write to tell not to sell. (Write, first, to "tell a story" not to "sell a book.")

SS: What were your previous occupations?

AO: many posts in communications (copywriter/editor, PR executive, editorial director, etc.)

SS: What was/is your favorite job?

AO: boss

AO: I enjoy a plethora of music.
