JO: Wow. If I could do that, who would need to live it?

JO: I write to ease the passing of time --Borge

JO: bartender, teacher, translator, editor,
SS: What was/is your favorite job?
JO: At a cafe during college
SS: Where did you go to high school and/or college?
JO: West High in Madison, WI. Hamline University for Undergrad. And Columbia College Chicago for Grad School.
SS: Name of your favorite composer or music artist?
JO: I can only have one?!? Hope about Sergio Mendes?
SS: What is your favorite movie?
JO: The City of Lost Children

SS: Who are your favorite authors?
JO: They're changing all the time, but I aspire to Faulkner & Morrison & Marquez. I listen to voices of Isabel Allende & Junot Diaz & Dorothy Allison. And I lose myself in Ha Jin & Sandra Cisneros & ZZ Packer.
