SS: Who are your favorite authors?
GL: Tough question. A few are: Russel Banks, Ken Grimwood, Ernest Hemingway, Harper Lee, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, John Kennedy Toole, Bob Dylan, Walter Mosley,T.C Boyle, Mary Shelly, Hunter Thompson, Edgar Allan Poe, Pablo Neruda, Ann Sexton (but only if I'm in a negative mood)....and the list could go on forever.
SS: What are your 5 favorite books of all time?
GL: To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Replay by Ken Grimwood. Islands In The Stream by Ernest Hemingway. Frankenstein by Mary Shelly A Confederacy Of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole
SS: Is there a book you love to reread?
GL: REPLAY by Ken Grimwood
SS: Do you have one sentence of advice for new writers?
GL: Write everyday and don't be afraid to cut what you wrote.
SS: What comment do you hear most often from your readers?
GL: I remember thinking the same thing.
SS: What is your birthdate?
SS: What were your previous occupations?
GL: I own a window washing service. It has it's ups and downs (sorry).
SS: What was/is your favorite job?
GL: I really like writing.
SS: Where did you go to high school and/or college?
GL: University of Arizona
SS: Name of your favorite composer or music artist?
GL: I love music, all music but I keep coming back to Miles Davis.
SS: What is your favorite movie?
GL: I don't know why but I really like "Vanilla Sky"

GL: House or maybe Lost.
SS: How would you describe your life in only 8 words?
GL: I'm searching for the end of the rainbow.

GL: I want it to be: Live free, write hard.

GL: On a hot sandy beach with a cold drink.

GL: I say, "you know what I mean?" too much.
SS: What do you regret most?
GL: My misspent youth. Time I've wasted. Dollars not saved. Words thought but never spoken.
SS: If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?
GL: I'd love to be able to play the guitar.
SS: What is your greatest achievement?
GL: My daughter's happiness.
SS: What’s your greatest flaw?
GL: I'm stubborn. It's great when things work out, not so great when they don't.
SS: What’s your best quality?
GL: If you're my friend, I've got your back.
SS: If you could be any person or thing, who or what would it be?
GL: Rock star.
SS: What trait is most noticeable about you?
GL: I smile a lot and have a loud laugh.
SS: Who is your favorite fictional hero?
GL: Sherlock Holmes
SS: Who is your favorite fictional villain?
GL: Professor Moriarty
SS: If you could meet any historical character, who would it be and what would you say to him or her?
GL: I'd like to meet John F Kennedy and tell him not to go to Dallas November 22 1963.
SS: What is your biggest pet peeve?
GL: People who lie for no reason.
SS: What is your favorite occupation, when you’re not writing?
GL: I love to ski.
SS: What’s your fantasy profession?
GL: Professional baseball player.
SS: What 3 personal qualities are most important to you?
GL: Intelligence, sense of humor, loyalty
SS: If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your days, what would it be?
SS: What are your 5 favorite songs?
GL: I can't say they change from week to week from mood to mood. I do like Radiohead, the Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Wilco and Ryan Adams.
