MA: With a full time job as a television host and managing editor of your own show and being a single mother with three kids under 11-when do you find time to write?

SS: What were your previous occupations?

MA: I worked in advertising as a copywrtiter and an account executive before getting my first job as a broadcast journalist

SS: What was/is your favorite job?

MA: The one I have as a journalist

SS: Where did you go to high school and/or college?

MA: I went to an all girls high school in my native Puerto Rico and I graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans.

SS: Name of your favorite composer or music artist?

MA: I like rock,opera,brazilian music and I think Shakira is the most complete music artist today

SS: What is your favorite movie?

MA: Casablanca

SS: What is your favorite television show?

MA: I like Dexter and I love the Discovery and History channels in general

MA: As a particular perception of reality
