A One in a Million Boy egy nagyon megható, furcsa és szokatlan történet volt egy kisfiú és egy extrémen idős asszony, valamint a fiú szüleinek barátságáról, valamint a Guiness-rekordokról, ami inkább volt érdekfeszítő, mint izgalmas. Az elején tartottam tőle, hogy unni fogom, mert a nagyon kicsi gyerekekről szóló és a nagyon idősekről szóló történetek is egyaránt nem tartoznak az érdeklődési körömbe, de az írónő már eleve egy érdekes felállással kezdte a könyvet.
