+i finished it!

NAY:
the plot (there was none). the love story. i generally find love stories to be boring and cliche, but this one was worse than usual. the entire conflict revolves around a love triangle (yawn), and the "conflict" (who will Ash choose?) resolution is incredibly unsatisfying and poorly explained.

This book holds up well to re-reading. I really enjoy how realistic Ash's character and motivations are. Her grief is poignant and her reactions to grief are believable. The fairy world is intriguing, the imagery is beautiful, and I really enjoy Ash's struggle for independence. ...more
