I don't even know how to express how much I have fallen for this series. Looking at the various reviews from one to five stars, I cannot think how anyone could rate this story so low. This is one of those stories you become immersed in and do not want to put down until the very end. I am so glad to have finished my first step in the Outlander series. Half-way through, I bought the second book to make sure I would have it the moment I finished.

I really liked it until the scene in the castle...and after that, I could not stomach the book. Not interested enough to read anymore in the series.
