Sorry folks, but I just can't finish this one. It just isn't emotionally evocative enough. I'm actually quite bored with it, and when I realized I was less than halfway through, the cringe convinced me to move on to other things.
With this book you tend to get the feeling that you're missing something, and indeed for a little more clarity you should first read The Calorie Man and Yellow Card Man, in that order. Both of these stories can be found for free online.

A fantastic book! Believable characters, interesting future world, some scientific inaccuracies but nonetheless a fun book. A lot of characters but if you can keep track of them, it's a page-turner. I hope the author writes some sequels!

This both is so so so boring that I could not finish it. I like the author's other works though so go read one of those.
