UPDATED FROM 3 TO 4 STARS: I first read this book in June 2011 on my own. I re-read it this week for my book club. Originally, I wrote that this was between a 3 & 4 star review for me. On my 2nd reading, I enjoyed the book so much more. I think the keys this time were 1)knowing to expect a mix of short stories that all tie together a little bit & many changes in styles and 2)reading this book in just a few days for better continuity (rather than putting it down/picking it back up which made it h
