Before I started this book I heard a lot of good, but also bad stuff, so I decided to read a review, too.
First thing about this book is: If you like realistic fights and cruel coldblooded killers, you might not like this one.
Celaena Sardothien is supposed to be a cold blooded assassin, but sadly the author totally failed that aspect of the story. In my opinion Celaena acts like any other young girl and not like someone, who was trained to kill people without a second thought. I actually like her ...more

YES. Finally! They're releasing a reprint of the first book in hardcover with the updated cover design. I CAN FINALLY BUY WHAT IS RELEASED OF THIS SERIES IN HARDCOVER!! And they'll all match each other and sit prettily on my shelf (when I finally get one of course.)

I was constantly irritated by the vanity and arrogance of Celaena, however. At time she seemed like a super awesome BAMF, and others... meh...
