What Members Thought

Setting:Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska; 2011-2012
Coverly Love?:Like Eleanor & Park, this book has a super cute cover. But I don't absolutely love it.
Plot:Cath and her twin sister Wren have always done everything together (even their names go together). And Cath thinks that nothing will change when it comes time to go to college. Wren has other ideas though, considering that Cath is sort of a hermit. Cath also happens to be obsessed with the Simon Snow series written by Gemma Leslie. She lives it, ...more

I don't really have time to write a full review so I'll just say a few quick words:
Firstly: wow! I wasn't expecting this book to be so good. I've heard many great things about Rowell's 'Eleanor and Park' and decided to pick this up in Smith's along with Lowry's 'The Giver'. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only are the characters quirky and fun but the book really leaks realism.
