I absolutely loved this short novella. Very clever plot, the place where most westerners perform their hunter-gatherer instinct - the supermarket, is the setting. The characters, single Martin who takes a shine to Marianne who he spots in the supermarket. This is a thing, males glancing in female's shopping baskets to try and suss out if they are single, but never acting on anything because then they would have to change supermarkets.
