My sister Kimberly put on a show at her university that made me feel like I was in a "different" cirucs. The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnasus did the same. And so did this book. It's a love story, love between man and woman and person and circus and person and magic. It jumps around a bit so take care to pay attention to the dates at the beginning of the chapters. But the love stories and magic make any confusion a minor annoyance. I simply loved it.
