I listened to the audiobook.
And it was torture. Can’t quite assess if listening to the narrator was actually worse than the plagiarist protagonist. Both horrid.
The book went overtime with being repetitive without providing any wisdom as to address the very issues (cultural misappropriation, racism, mental health) that it relentlessly afflicted on the reader. This wasn’t satire, it was torture to the dear reader of the continuous loop of the main character self congratulating of pulling a Christo ...more
