Wonderful memoir of love and loss. It tore my heart out because I related a lot to the pain of losing your mother.

A beautiful and touching memoir. Just 25 years old when her mother dies of cancer, Michelle tries to make sense of her passing and find ways to hold on to her memory. Partly a coming-of-age struggle and partly a love-letter to Korean food, this book is wholly felt and honest, both with a difficult mother-daughter relationship and what it means to be half-Korean in the US and half-American in Korea. A lovely memoir.
