This was an incredible book that had me hooked! A quick read about the many and potentially disastrous events that take place int eh life of a circus worker in the 1930s. A captivating romance and a great meaning about animals and life overall.

Shelves: historical-fiction, romance, a-tree-died-for-this-crap
So much less than I expected. The story was pretty unrealistic and melodramatic and the writing was adequate but nothing special. I learned things about life in a traveling circus that I didn't know before and I really liked the way the book ended. But most of the story had me rolling my eyes. ...more
