I'm intrigued with how this book drew me in, considering that the main character is a butler who rarely gets out. But Issiguro has amazed me before, so I think that means I'm becoming a fan. I love the way he tells a simple story that leaves you thinking.
I can't stop picturing Anthony Hopkins as the lead because of the movie, but I think that's okay. Sir Anthony rocks. Perhaps it was just good casting. : ) ...more
