What Members Thought
This was my first TJR book and I was talked into trying this due to a very avid fan base in a Facebook group. And I’m SO glad I gave this a try.
I was mildly interested in the story based on the blurb. Family drama, maybe something suspenseful with the fire, idk we’ll check it out. I’ve read books with way worse premises.

TJR is one of my more recent favorite authors; I have read several of her books. Though this was not as amazing as “Seven Husbands” I still enjoyed this one. Ried knows how to write a character driven novel and I think she painted a vivid picture of the Reeva siblings and all their disfunction and love for each other. The end wrapped up a little abruptly for my liking, but I still felt engaged through the end.
She is an amazing story teller.
