“He was a man of black and white. And she was color. All the color he had.”
This was a wonderful read. Both sad at times and Laugh out Loud funny, I appreciated the excellent writing and the well done characters. I would say the only hard part was getting through Ove and his grumpy treatment of the cat. Once we were done with that, I absolutely adored this one.

Cute, entertaining character-read. I feel like Emily May's review says it all, so no need for redundant expounding. The only thing that tripped me up was his age - the author could have added 20 years to his age of 59 to make it more plausible (I know some pretty hardy 80-year-olds!)

LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVE this book! in the same vein for me as Eleanor Oliphant, with a peculiar and difficult main character who I absolutely came to adore immediately. Actually every character was just so wonderful...a great ensemble for sure. Definitely ranks among my all time faves as i laughed and sobbed through the pages. LOVED it!!!
