Tom and Isabel rescue a baby from a boat on their remote lighthouse island and raise her as their own for four years. A bittersweet story.
LOVED this book!!! Could not put it down. Beautifully written , a real page turner. Spoiler alert: Plan to cry at the end. A beautiful and tragic love story about two decent people and the consequences of their actions.
4 1/2 stars. Exceptional story about people that didn't make the best decisions, and what transpires after, with true to life characters that can take you there and higher.
