I might be one of a handful of people who didn't read this book in high school (despite doing an entire year's unit on the Holocaust and going to the Holocaust Museum in DC at least 5 times). I don't know what I expected, but I don't think this was it. I appreciate the book, and especially that Otto Frank published it. I can't say that I related to Anne, but she certainly would have had a career in writing or journalism had her life not been cut short from typhoid. All in all, I'm very glad I re ...more
