I read the first two books in this trilogy shortly after I had my first 4 years ago. At the time I was looking for something mindless I could concentrate on even while sleep deprived and these seemed to fit the bill. Even then, the series really didn't interest me all that much but since I bought all three in the series I decided to read the last on and be done with it. All through the series the child vampire sent chills through me. Such evil coming from something that is suppose to be (and looks) that innocent is vastly disturbing
