What Members Thought
I picked up this book thinking it was classic literature, but it turned out to be a poorly written yet somewhat entertaining novel. The author frequently repeats descriptive words and phrases in the same paragraphs and sentences. Also, the plot details and character traits were sometimes inconsistent and contradictory. Overall, I was not impressed.
People flocking to the guillotine sickens me. Why has execution always been a form of entertainment?
