Loved this! Super spooky, super atmospheric, great characters. I was pretty lukewarm on Moreno-Garcia's last book (Gods of Jade and Shadow) but I thought this one was great. I liked how there were scientific parts, but also supernatural parts, and a lot of this was genuinely freaky. Also, the main character was great and a lot of fun to spend time with. I know I'm in the minority, but I just didn't like it. Beautiful writing, but not creepy or weird enough for a gothic to me.
