As much as I've enjoyed the stories in this series, every once in a while I seem to get stuck and it takes me forever to move on. This particular book took me forever to get through. In the end it took me switching to Audiobook with James Marsters narrating to get through it. (Who doesn't enjoy James Marsters :)
In this story Harry finds himself caught in the middle of a fairy war, really what could be worse? He's had nothing but trouble with that lot starting with his Godmother.

Lots of action plus humor from Dresden. I like the expanded knowledge of the world of Faerie and the return of characters from earlier books. I'll d

I keep waiting for the Dresden Files books to start feeling repetitive, but I have been pleasantly surprised that not only do they still have great stories to offer, but each one is better than the one before. In this fourth novel of the series, Harry must solve a murder of someone who is not who he seems. In the process of solving the mystery Harry must save his own life which is threatened by angry vampires, prevent the White Council of Wizards from turning him over to the vampires, find a mis

An enjoyable book in the Dresden series. I like that Dresden actually finds the wacky forces and creatures he's involved with scary and worrisome rather than just having a "I'll kick all their butts from here to Sunday" attitude. But the "Oh no, I'm in over my head" factor of this book was a little high. Every time I turned the page, the odds were even worse for Harry.
