The opening chapter tells of an older lady who went into a funeral home to arrange her own funeral. Fair enough, she wanted to organise this ahead of time and have it her way. But then, she was murdered!

I enjoyed this, particularly the first person narrator. It was very easy to read and I didn't work out the guilty party although I am sure many did. It is the first book I have read by Horowitz and I would certainly read more, however it didn't do anything especially different to raise it above the mass of mystery writing.
