Leo and Mina's story has all of the elements that were missing from Perry and Garrett's book - a gripping plot, an appealing kick-ass heroine and her charming yet tortured male counterpart, and an intensely intimate and emotional romance.

First things first, blurb writer, maybe mention that the heroine is the Duchess of Cassavian, who has been showing up (like Leo) since the beginning of the series. Sheesh.

Secondly, it's going to be difficult to review this book without series spoilers. So fair warning...

I think this is the last of the series and I'm quite sad about that. I've enjoyed this dark, steampunky, vampire-y series since the beginning. It's fitting that it ends with these two characters since they've both been aro ...more
