I found myself engrossed in this story and if it hadn't been for wrapping presents I would have completed it much sooner then the 3 days it took me.

10 people mysteriously invited to Indian Island by their host. A host that no one seems to know, but by the invation is made to look as if they do. It is within a few hours of being on this strangle little island that things start to get interesting. A host no where to be seen, a nursery rhyme about 10 little indians, a recording accusing each guest

This book scared me to death. It was either the first or second book I read by Agatha Christie. The alternate title of this book is Ten Little Indians. It is sometimes hard to keep track of which books I have read, because many of the books were released with different titles in the UK and the states.
I will not give anything away, but this is probably Christies greatest masterpiece. (Go ahead and disagree or add a qualifier, I probably will in a day or so. I love almost all her mysteries)

Ten people are brought to a mysterious island under false pretenses. Once they arrive, there is no sign of their host and no way off the island. One by one someone is killing the guests. Can you figure out who and why? This was a great suspense story. I liked the interaction of the characters. I probably would have given it 5 stars if there was some more clues to the ending before the reveal, but I really enjoyed the plot and the suspense. Ten people are summoned to an island under false circumstances. After dinner the first night a recording accuses all of them of murder. Soon the inhabitants begin being murdered in connection to a children's rhyme found in everyone's bedrooms. I first read this book in the 1980's and this is my first time re-reading it.
