I am not a big fan of Sherlock Holmes stories. Perhaps I read too many of them when I was younger and just burned out. I do like the TV show "Elementary", which is a more modern Sherlock Holmes story.

For the most part I enjoyed this book. The author has done a great job of reviving Holmes with a younger female partner. Their relationship adds another level to the narrative. There was a point in the middle of the story where I lost the thread for a while, events didn't necessarily make sense but this was pulled back in the end. I would read more of this series
