I didn't like this one as much as the previous book but I enjoyed it nevertheless. The narration was awesome as usual.
I hoped that we would have a different sort of hero as Rydstrom was supposed to be cool and logical but all that fell down the wayside when he got captured by Sabine. Not that I blamed him but I wished the story had progressed a bit differently.

This was a good story, but not a great read for me, and I'm not sure why. Rydstrom & Sabine both had responsibilities towards others that were (seemingly) in direct conflict with their desire to be with each other. They both also had horrible things done to them in the centuries before they met. By working together, they were able to eliminate their mutual enemy and resolve their differences.
