The unabridged audio version read by Tom Parker is terrific. He does an excellent job with the different dialects and voices and really brings the story to life. It's been years since I read this book and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it performed in an audio version. I can see why this is often called the Great American Novel. I listened to this version in 2011.

This is a classic. It is a very interesting book. Told from the view point of Hucleberry Finn and his travels down river with Jim, a slave. A good bit of the story is far fetched. But it has humor and I love the Mississippi River setting. However, this book didn’t rock my world. It’s just not my genre. I think this is a great book for teenage boys. I hope my son will read it when he gets older.
