Often times when I finish reading a book, I'm left with a sense of completion, or a bit of sadness that my journey in the author's world is over.
Not this time.
This, for me, was a painful read. It was never boring, but rarely coherent. I'm sure there are people who would argue Kerouac writes on a different level, that requires higher intelligence to enjoy.
